484 silver coins seized at Delhi airport, 134 flagged with archaeological significance

Customs officials seized 484 silver coins from two passengers arriving from Doha, with the Archaeological Survey of India flagging 134 of the silver coins as "archaeologically significant". The coins have a combined weight of 20.883 kg and are valued at around ₹47.16 lakh. Archaeologically significant objects are coins, sculptures and art that have existed for at least 100 years.
