3-day bank strike deferred

The United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU) said its three-day strike scheduled for September 28 to 30 has been deferred following an understanding with Indian Banks' Association (IBA) on Sunday night. UFBU said an IBA-UFBU committee will examine demand for all Saturdays as holidays. Talks will also resume on PLI for Scale IV and above officers and other pending issues.
