Mbappe says he could win Ballon d'Or this year, Dugarry calls it 'childish & pathetic'

Former France footballer Christophe Dugarry criticised Kylian Mbappe for saying that 2026 is a strong year for him to claim the Ballon d'Or award. "To publicly ask for an individual award like that, I find it childish and pathetic. There's nothing great about asking for it, especially as captain of your national team," Dugarry said.
