Sayani Gupta's debut directorial cleared of plagiarism allegations

Screenwriters Association cleared Sayani Gupta's debut directorial 'Aasmani' of plagiarism allegations after filmmaker Vinita Negi claimed it was similar to her unfinished film 'Prabha'. The association clarified that Vinita and Sayani's films only share the underlying idea. "I had said earlier, truth will always prevail...This has been the most harrowing experience of my life," said Sayani.
