Postal employees seek early payment of 2025-26 bonus from govt

Postal employees have sought early payment of their Productivity Linked Bonus (PLB) for 2025-26, with unions urging the government to release it before Durga Puja. The unions said early payment would help employees "celebrate the festival with their families in a meaningful manner". The demand comes alongside a separate push to revise the wage ceiling used to calculate the bonus.
