China is amplifying the voices of Taiwanese critics against ruling government of President Lai Ching-te, Reuters reported. China is reportedly importing public statements of Taiwanese Opposition figures and making them go viral in Taiwan. In one such clip, Opposition leader Cheng Li-wun said Lai was "dragging all 23 million of us" in Taiwan into a "dead end" by pursuing independence.
