Protesting farmers who are marching to Delhi on Monday are seeking allocation of 10% plots and a 64.7% increase in compensation under the old acquisition law. They also want a 20% plot on the land acquired after January 1, 2014. Furthermore, they want employment and rehabilitation for children of landless farmers and proper settlement of populated areas.
