India's Parul wins steeplechase bronze at Asian Games after breaking national record

India's Parul Chaudhary won bronze in the women's 3000m steeplechase at the Asian Games 2026, clocking a personal best of 9:08.67. She also broke her own national record of 9:12.46, becoming the first Indian woman to finish the event in under 9:10. She won gold in the 5,000m and silver in the 3,000m steeplechase at the Asian Games 2023.
