4 states/UT on alert after cyclone warning

The India Meteorological Department has warned that developing weather system over the Bay of Bengal is forecast to intensify into a very severe cyclonic storm and cross Andhra Pradesh coast on October 28. Odisha has begun preparing evacuation shelters and shut educational institutes in five districts, Andhra Pradesh has also begun preparations. Tamil Nadu and Puducherry are also on alert.
