Noida DM moves SC against HC order quashing DU student’s NSA detention

Gautam Budh Nagar DM Medha Roopam has approached the Supreme Court after Allahabad High Court pulled her up over the detention of student protester Akriti Chaudhary under the NSA. The High Court quashed the detention, linked to a Noida workers' protest, saying it was based on a "concocted" story and ordered ₹5 lakh compensation to be recovered from DM's salary.
