Satellite images from July 19 show that around 60-70% of India is under cloud cover as monsoon turns active again. The thickest cloud cover stretches across northern plains from Punjab to West Bengal and over Northeast. IMD has forecast widespread rainfall across the Northeast throughout the week, with heavy rainfall likely over Arunachal, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
