Mamata Banerjee's party gets new name and symbol

Former West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee led Trinamool Congress has been allotted the name 'Mamata All India Trinamool Congress' and the symbol 'Football Player' by the Election Commission of India (ECI). ECI said that Mamata's party is to be treated as a recognised political party in the States of West Bengal, Meghalaya and Tripura.
