Uttar Pradesh government cancelled a ₹25,000-crore MoU with Bengaluru-based startup founded in 2025, Puch AI, after social media users questioned its ability to build AI parks, data centres, and an AI university. The startup lacked an "adequate net worth" and "credible financial linkages", the UP government said. CM Yogi Adityanath earlier called the MoU a preliminary step, subject to evaluation.
