West Central Railways will implement a token system for Tatkal ticket booking from August 1 to reduce queues, improve crowd management and make counter bookings more transparent. Under this, people can collect tokens and return later to book tickets at specified times. The timing is aligned with existing booking schedules. It'll also give priority to those booking for immediate family.
