The Centre on Tuesday announced an interim allocation of ₹95,692 crore for the Viksit Bharat Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission Gramin (VB-G RAM G) scheme. Uttar Pradesh was allocated the highest share of ₹9,721.48 crore, followed by West Bengal with ₹8,508 crore. Most states will contribute an additional 40%, making the total outlay for the scheme ₹1.25 lakh crore.
