Bihar policeman brandishes gun at people during flood relief distribution, suspended

Maker Police Station SHO Sangram Kumar Singh in Bihar's Saran district was suspended after a video purportedly showing him brandishing a pistol at flood-hit people during relief distribution went viral. The Saran SSP's office said the incident prima facie reflected "gross negligence of duty, indiscipline and arbitrariness". Nearly 9.87 lakh people across six districts have been affected by floods.
