A US court has temporarily blocked Perplexity AI's AI agents from accessing Amazon's e-commerce platform and placing orders on users' behalf. Amazon sued Perplexity last year, accusing the startup of "intruding" into its marketplace through its AI browser Comet. The court also ordered the AI startup to destroy any Amazon data it may have obtained.
