River rafting in Rishikesh suspended indefinitely

River rafting on the Ganga River in Rishikesh has been halted indefinitely due to continuous rainfall over the last two days. The activities will resume only after the weather improves and the river recedes to a safer level, authorities said. The rafting resumed in the Ganga on September 23 after the annual monsoon break that began on July 1.
