Assam’s Byrnihat is the most polluted city in India in terms of PM2.5, followed by Delhi and Ghaziabad, as per Centre for Research on Energy and Clean Air (CREA) report. While for PM10, Delhi is the most polluted, followed by Ghaziabad and Greater Noida. Moreover, 44% Indian cities are facing chronic air pollution, while only 4% are under government’s NCAP.
