19-yr-old Andreeva reaches China Open final, secures world no. 3 ranking

Russian tennis player Mirra Andreeva defeated Czechia's Nikola Bartunkova in straight sets in the China Open 2026 semi-final on Saturday. The 19-year-old won the match 6-2, 6-2 to reach her first final in Beijing. With the win, world number five Andreeva is also set to become the world number three when the rankings are updated on Monday.
