English cricketer Robin Das charged with rape

English cricketer Robin Das, who plays for Essex in county cricket, has been charged with two rape offences. Police said the case relates to a woman who reported being raped in Brixton, London, in March 2024. Das was arrested in August 2025, but released on bail. Essex said the 24-year-old has been suspended as the legal case against him continues.
