US launches largest denaturalisation drive, targets 40 citizens
The US Department of Justice moved to strip 40 individuals of American citizenship, calling it the largest denaturalisation effort in modern history. Accused include a California-based Indian-origin man, Balwinder Singh, who allegedly used a fraudulent identity, and a Chinese-born ex-Navy sailor convicted of espionage. Attorney General Todd Blanche announced the action on Monday.
