More than 10,000 US Marines, sailors and airmen, along with over a dozen warships and dozens of aircraft, are carrying out a mission to blockade ships entering and leaving Iranian ports, the US Central Command said. The US military added it'll support freedom of navigation for vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz, provided they're not heading to or from Iran.
