Naseeruddin Shah plays Rushdie in '27 Seconds' stage play

Motley Productions' '27 Seconds', starring Naseeruddin Shah as Salman Rushdie and Malaika Choudhury as his wife, adapts Rushdie's memoir 'Knife' about the 2022 knife attack. Co-directed by Shah and Arghya Lahiri, the play uses only words from the book. It premieres at Prithvi Theatre Festival on November 2 and 3.
