Man with ₹210 in his FASTag wallet fined ₹100 for 'less' balance, NHAI & bank fined ₹4,100

A Chandigarh consumer forum ordered NHAI and a payments bank to pay ₹4,100 to a man who was incorrectly charged while crossing a Punjab toll plaza. His FASTag wallet had ₹210, but ₹200 was deducted as fee and fine for "insufficient" balance. The forum rejected the bank's argument that the toll payment would've brought wallet below minimum ₹150 security balance.
