Will burqa-wearing students be considered for jobs: Mumbai college on banning burqa

The Acharya Marathe College in Chembur, Mumbai, introduced a dress code for its degree college students and banned burqas, niqabs or hijabs. When asked about this, Subodh Acharya, the general secretary of the college's governing council, said, "We want to increase college placements. If the students go to seek jobs in a burqa, will they be considered?"
