Canada removed 3,323 Indian nationals in the first six months of 2026, the highest among all nationality groups, followed by 1,573 Mexicans, according to Canada Border Services Agency data. The figure is already close to 3,779 Indians removed throughout 2025. Removals were carried out on grounds such as non-compliance with immigration rules, misrepresentation and criminality, among others.
