Jeet Adani, Director of Adani Digital Labs, said, "AI may be written in code, but it runs on electricity," and India has a structural advantage. Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony of Google Cloud India AI Hub in Visakhapatnam, he added, "India stands at approximately 1.3 gigawatts of data centre capacity...and we are envisioning nearly one gigawatt in a single location."
