Family finds J&K hotels booked on MakeMyTrip are 'non-existent', spends night in car in -4°C

The District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Gurdaspur, has directed MakeMyTrip India Pvt Ltd to give ₹48,775 to a Punjab-based advocate. This comes after his family found that two hotels booked in Srinagar and Gulmarg, through the platform, were either non-existent or did not provide the booked accommodation. The family eventually spent the night inside their vehicle in -4°C.
