The 50% 'wages' rule under new labour codes may dip monthly disposable income of employees with annual CTCs of ₹10 lakh, ₹25 lakh and ₹50 lakh. However, it may increase their retirement savings with higher PF contributions and gratuity accumulation. Under it, ₹10-lakh CTC could translate to ₹61,329 monthly take-home, and ₹25-lakh CTC could mean ₹1,31,703 monthly take-home, FE reported.
