What will Zomato offer its 240 employees who have been laid off?

Eternal-owned Zomato is shutting its Hyderabad customer support operations, affecting around 240 employees. Those impacted will get four months' severance, including notice pay and a one-time ex gratia payment. Medical insurance and counselling support will continue until March 31, 2027. Employees can also keep their company laptops and earphones, while receiving outplacement support.
