Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) have withdrawn ₹88,180 crore from Indian equities as of March 20, according to the latest NSDL data. In February, FPIs had infused ₹22,615 crore into Indian equities. The latest pullback comes amid escalating Middle East tensions, the rupee crossing the 93 mark against the US dollar, elevated US bond yields and disruption to oil supplies.
