Defence Minister sacked by Zelenskyy calls for wartime Presidential elections

Recently sacked Ukrainian Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov has called for wartime Presidential elections, challenging Volodymyr Zelenskyy's leadership. Fedorov has accused the government of systemic failures and widespread corruption hindering Ukraine's ability to fight Russia. Elections in Ukraine were suspended after martial law had been imposed at the start of the Russia war in 2022.
