Omani co-pilot plotted flydubai attack in July, delayed it due to crew member friend: Report

Omani co-pilot, who tried to crash a flydubai plane after stabbing Indian pilot Smit Machchhar, had planned to hijack the flight to Tel Aviv in July, Reuters reported. He delayed his plan because he was friends with a crew member of airline, it added. He reportedly planned a 9/11-style terror attack by crashing the plane into a skyscraper in Israel.
