Wind-fuelled wildfires burn multi-million-dollar mansions in California; thousands flee

Thousands were forced to flee their homes as several wind-fuelled wildfires raged across Southern California. At least six multi-million-dollar mansions were destroyed in the Norte Fire in affluent Orange County. Meanwhile, electricity was cut off to reduce the risk of electrical sparks, leaving thousands without power. These wildfires are driven by low humidity and unseasonably high temperatures.
