Why Jannik Sinner got only 3-month ban in doping case?

World number one Jannik Sinner was banned for three months from tennis by WADA in response to trace amounts of the banned substance clostebol being found in his system. WADA said he didn't intend to cheat, and his exposure to clostebol didn't provide any performance-enhancing benefit. Had Sinner intended to dope, he would have faced a four-year ban.
