US, China experts push nuclear-style 'red lines' defence for AI risks

US and Chinese cybersecurity experts have proposed using red lines around nuclear systems as a safeguard amid AI risks. The experts also recommended limiting machine-made military decisions and establishing communication networks, that would allow only humans to initiate AI-enabled cyberattacks. This comes ahead of US President Trump and Chinese President Jinping's meeting on September 24.
