MeitY Secretary S Krishnan said India is developing a domestic AI sandbox with 60-70% of the capabilities of Anthropic's model Mythos. As per the government, the initiative aims to improve access to frontier AI technologies amid US export restrictions. Krishnan also stated that Mythos has been able to "lay bare cybersecurity vulnerabilities" that have remained unaddressed for a long time.
