The IMD has predicted the maximum temperature in Delhi to be around 40℃ until May 3 and linger between 35-38℃ on May 4, 5 and 6. Light rain accompanied by thunderstorm/lightning and strong winds has been predicted from May 3, 4 and 5, with humidity levels also increasing over the same period. Cloudy skies are expected from May 1 onwards.
