Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari criticised political parties for giving away free electricity and other handouts, saying it's not good for the Indian economy. "We all must stop and think if it is really in the best interest of India," he stated. "We must create an 'aatmanirbhar' India where no one needs subsidies," he added.
