UAE’s ambassador to India, Dr Abdulnasser Jamal Alshaali, said PM Narendra Modi’s response to ensure security of Indians in UAE was immediate. “He called UAE's President directly. He understood that 4 million Indians living in the UAE deserve to know that their PM was personally engaged,” he added. "They are safe and cared for," he said about Indians in UAE.
