No Opposition party requested a meeting with CEC: EC amid protests

The Election Commission on Tuesday said it had not received any request for a meeting with the protesting Opposition MPs. This came as Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and other leaders protested near the poll panel's office, seeking a meeting with the election commissioners. The I.N.D.I.A bloc is protesting against alleged irregularities in the SIR of electoral rolls.
