LinkedIn is planning to lay off around 5% of its workforce to reorganise teams and focus on growth areas, Reuters reported. The Microsoft-owned professional networking platform employs around 17,500 full-time employees globally. While it remains unclear which teams will be affected, the report said the layoffs are not linked to AI replacing jobs.
