India to face two-time FIFA WC champions Uruguay on October 6

The Indian men's national team will face two-time FIFA World Cup champions Uruguay in an international friendly in Kolkata on October 6, 2026, the All India Football Federation (AIFF) announced on Thursday. The match will be played at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan. India will also face Panama in Bengaluru on September 26 and Brazil in Kolkata on October 3.
