Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, while presenting the Budget 2026, proposed a three-pronged approach to help MSMEs scale up. She announced a ₹10,000 crore SME Growth Fund aimed at creating "champions" among MSMEs and said the government will also top up the Self-Reliant India Fund with an additional ₹2,000 crore. She is presenting the Budget for the ninth consecutive year.
