The Gauhati High Court upheld a Foreigners' Tribunal order declaring Assam's Aminul Hoque, 38, a foreigner, despite him producing 15 documents, including a 1951 NRC copy, PAN card and EPIC. It noted inconsistencies across records and dismissed the petition on June 30. The court said oral testimony by Hoque's father, who identified him as his son, was also not enough.
