The Pentagon has barred journalists from entering its press office in another move to restrict press access to US Department of Defence. The Pentagon said that speechwriters from the Office of the Secretary of War who "routinely handle classified material" are sharing the space, hence journalists will no longer be permitted to enter. "There's nothing controversial about that," it added.
