Waste noodles lying on floor used to make bhujia at Wai Wai maker's unit

During an inspection of Wai Wai noodles maker CG Foods India's Ajmer unit, FSSAI found that it was "reprocessing floor-collected waste noodles into bhujia products without heat treatment". FSSAI directed CG Foods to stop producing Veg Bhujia namkeen products after it flagged unlicensed manufacturing of 'Wai-Wai MaMa' and 'Wai-Wai Mama Punte' bhujia variants. Officials seized 32.107.2 kg of stock.
