Amazon has been ordered to pay ₹58,000 to a Chandigarh woman for not refunding ₹40,325 paid for orders by hackers who misused her credit card. Amazon raised a demand against her Pay Later account despite assuring refund after she cancelled hackers' orders. A consumer commission said Amazon's actions "prove deficiency in service" while Amazon said they cannot "transact at will".
