American cloud data company Snowflake, which recently announced a $200 million deal with OpenAI, announced "targeted" staff cuts. While the company didn't disclose headcount or the teams affected, reports suggested that approximately 70 people in the technical writing and documentation teams may have been laid off. The layoffs come as Snowflake increases its focus on AI-driven products.
